Job summary

Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is seeking a patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team. This part-time position offers PRN coverage to support vacation coverage and other staffing needs at our Decatur and Athens locations.

Candidates should be available for daytime and evening shifts, with some weekend work and shift differential pay. Education requirements include an associate's degree in Radiology and ARRT/ARMIT registration, with MR advanced registration

Job Type

Part-time

Position Status

PRN (as needed to assist with vacation coverage, call‑outs, and other staffing needs)

Location

PRN coverage for our outpatient centers in Decatur and Athens.

Schedule

Candidates available for both daytime and evening coverage, with the possibility of occasional weekend shifts. Evening and weekend hours are eligible for shift differential pay.

Requirements

Education: Must have a minimum associate's degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two‑year radiology program.

Licensing / Certification Requirements: Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT. MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
