The ideal candidate will ensure equipment readiness, efficiently document procedures, and maintain high patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI.
• Must maintain active certification through required CEUs.
• Actively licensed in the state if applicable.
• Current CPR certification is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans while ensuring patient safety.

Overview

Schedule: PRN (provides coverage for PTO and sick leave)

Location: Florence MRI & Imaging

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans efficiently while ensuring patient safety and quality imaging
• Gather and review patient data to determine the optimal scanning approach
• Screen and prepare patients, including positioning and administering contrast as needed
• Monitor patient condition throughout the procedure and adjust as necessary
• Review images for diagnostic quality and determine if additional scans are needed
• Accurately document and archive patient and imaging data
• Maintain an efficient workflow and high standards of patient care and service
• Ensure equipment readiness, safety compliance, and regulatory adherence
• Participate in quality assurance, training, and continuing education

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI
• Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
• Active state licensure, where applicable
• CPR Certification is required

Prior Experience:

• 0+ years of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, required
• 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferred

Special Qualifications:

• IV skills required
• Knowledge of MRI procedures and standards
• Demonstrate adequate knowledge of anatomy
• Skill in operation of MRI equipment
