Job summary

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Alexandria is seeking a licensed mental health professional to join a multidisciplinary team delivering inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care to adults and seniors. The role includes assessment, treatment planning, therapy (individual, family, and group), discharge planning, and collaboration with physicians.

CPR certification and Oceans-approved de-escalation training are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant licensure required (CSW/LMSW/LCSW/LMFT/LPC/LPC-A or Psychologist).
• Minimum 0–1 year post-graduate clinical experience in practice.
• Experience delivering individual, family or group therapy as part of care.
• Knowledge of age-related and cultural needs of patients served.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services in accordance with professional standards.
• Plan and conduct individual, family and/or group therapy as assigned.
• Complete Comprehensive Integrated Assessments and treatment plans.
• Contribute to discharge planning and case management activities.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and reporting.
