Memorial Hermann in Houston, TX is seeking a PRN Medical Technologist or MLT to join our laboratory team. This role requires 12-hour shifts from 7 a.m.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent for foreign education
• Experience in high‑complexity testing
• Licenses/certifications: MLT/MLS ASCP or AMT or eligible for certification within 1 year

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents test results, quality control, maintenance procedures and corrective actions
• Manages daily lab operations including collections, processing, reporting and clerical duties
• Interacts with hospital staff, physicians and patients regarding specimens and results
• Ensures compliance with policies and accrediting agencies
• Promotes patient safety, cost efficiency and quality of service
