Responsibilities

• Performs and monitors laboratory tests per established protocols.

• Performs calibration and maintenance of instruments and quality control.
• Identifies instrument malfunctions and notifies supervisor.
• Collects specimens from newborn to adult patients per protocol.
• Provides technical assistance to Phlebotomists and staff.
• Ensures compliance with accrediting standards in acute settings.
