Job summary

Responsibilities include greeting patients, registration, scheduling, and coordinating with the health care team. Required education includes high school graduation or MA program completion and BLS certification within 14 days.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CCMA or NCRMA certification preferred.
• Basic typing and word processing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately schedules tests, obtains films/reports, and prepares specimens.
• Assists physicians/nurses with procedures as defined on competency checklist.
• Gathers patient history elements for clinical staff review.
