Qualderm Partners in Monroe, NC is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to support providers and ensure a smooth patient experience. Responsibilities include preparing patients, assisting during examinations, managing records, and coordinating scheduling in a fast-paced dermatology practice.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, Medical Assistant certification preferred, prior clinic experience, knowledge of dermatology terminology, strong communication, and proficiency with EHR

Qualificações

• High school diploma required; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Experience as Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Understanding of medical terminology, especially dermatology.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with patients and staff.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic office applications is a plus.

Responsabilidades

What You'll Do

As a Dermatology Medical Assistant, you will work closely with our providers and play an essential role in delivering excellent patient care while keeping the practice running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing patients for examinations by recording vital signs and medical histories
• Assisting providers during examinations and procedures
• Preparing instruments, equipment, and procedure rooms
• Conducting basic laboratory tests and handling specimens for analysis
