Job summary

Lowcountry Urgent Care in Mullins, SC is seeking a Medical Assistant (PRN) to support patient care with a wide range of clinical and administrative tasks. You will engage directly with patients and work to provide an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced clinic.

The role offers opportunities to cross-train, with duties supervised by the Provider. Certification in Medical Assisting is desirable, and a minimum of six months MA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification in Medical Assisting is desired, but not required.
• Minimum of six months’ experience working as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with patients and support patient care delivery with clinical tasks.
• Perform administrative tasks to support clinic operations.
• Cross-train in other areas of the clinic.
• Duties delegated and supervised by the Provider (Physician/Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant).
