Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Medical Assistants to support military service members at mobile clinics and fixed sites in Washington. You will perform phlebotomy, administer immunizations, conduct EKGs, and take manual vitals and vision measurements to help maintain deployable readiness.

Requirements include medical assisting certification, CPR/BLS, and comfort in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required, and experience with military or mobile medical services is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or equivalent training required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Job description

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

Our events are primarily held on the weekends (once per month), with some occasional weekdays in the State of Washington on an "as needed basis". You can choose how frequently you work our events.

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy / Blood draw.
• Immunizations.
• EKG.
• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
