Job summary

Dentrust Optimized Care Solutions is seeking Medical Assistants to provide health readiness services for U.S. Military Service members. Responsibilities include performing phlebotomy, immunizations, and manual vitals, primarily on weekends.

The ideal candidates should have relevant certifications and a minimum of one year of experience. Passionate and caring individuals with experience in mobile medical services are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or have equivalent training.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred.

Job description

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Florida on an "as needed basis".

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy / Blood draw.
• Immunizations.
• EKG.
• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
