Houston Methodist Hospital is seeking an RN for PRN Med/Surg to deliver professional nursing care, conduct assessments, educate patients and maintain records. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to coordinate treatment and ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Leadership duties may include charge responsibilities or precepting students and new staff. The role requires a Texas RN license (or compact) and BLS certification, with two years of RN experience.

Formación

• Two years registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment.
• RN Texas licensure or compact licensure with 60-day permanent license requirement.
• BLS certification required (AHA).

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional nursing care and perform assessments and treatments as part of the Med/Surg team.
• Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional team to coordinate care.
• Lead unit initiatives, serve as charge nurse or preceptor as assigned.
• Maintain accurate medical records and educate patients and families.
