Qualifications

• Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program.
• Current on all required continuing education and experience as required by MQSA and ARRT.
• Must possess non-restricted licensure in state work location.
• Two years of experience in mammography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease.
• Operates x-ray equipment and performs diagnostic procedures.
• Maintains a patient-first focus at all times.

Excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique

Effective communication with patients

Customer service skills

Understanding of medical terminology

Education

High School Diploma; Associates degree preferred

Current certification by ARRT in Radiography

ARRT advanced level certification in mammography
