Job summary

Outpatient Diagnostic Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our patient-focused team across four imaging centers in Huntsville, Madison, Athens and Decatur. This PRN position covers dayshift hours between 7:00am and 6:00pm as needed for staffing gaps.

Qualifications include ARRT Radiography certification with Mammography registration and BLS within 60 days of hire; an associate degree in Radiology or completion of a two-year radiology program is required.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT Radiography certification and Mammography registration.
• BLS within 60 days of hire.
• Associate degree in Radiology or completion of a 2-year radiology program.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography examinations per facility protocol.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Ensure accurate positioning and image quality for diagnostic interpretation.

Mammography Technologist - PRN Dayshift Position Available

Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama

is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our patient-focused team!

Position Status: PRN (as needed for staffing gaps, vacation coverage, weekend coverage, etc.)

Location: shifts available at all 4 of our outpatient imaging centers located in Huntsville, Madison, Athens, and Decatur

We are looking for dayshift coverage, between the hours of 7:00am - 6:00pm, depending on the location.

Requirements

Education

• Must have a minimum associate's degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

License/Certification Requirements

Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. Must also hold a Mammography advanced registration through ARRT. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
