Parkway Health Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Nursing department on a PRN basis. The role involves collecting resident data, reporting findings to the RN and Physician, and administering medications according to orders.

The LPN supports the plan of care and supervises CNAs while maintaining a clean, safe care environment. Responsibilities include performing unit-specific skills for geriatric residents, prioritizing tasks, and collaborating with the care team to

Qualifications

• Current Arkansas Practical Nurse License (unencumbered).
• Knowledgeable in geriatric nursing care and relevant policy.
• Maintains competency in nursing practice and geriatric care.
• Long term care experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attendance and reliability; team-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Collect and document admission and ongoing resident data with accuracy.
• Report unusual findings to RN and Physician promptly.
• Administer medications accurately per physician orders and policy.
• Implement plan of care directed by RN/Physician; execute orders timely.
• Supervise CNAs and ensure a clean, safe environment on unit.
• Assist residents; perform unit-specific skills as assigned.
