Job summary

Valley View Health and Rehabilitation in Madison, AL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN (As Needed) shifts. Day or night options are available. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and work with the care team in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license valid to practice in Alabama.
• Strong clinical skills including medication administration and wound care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor, assess, and document residents' health status including vital signs.
• Report changes to supervising RN or physician promptly.
• Assist residents with ADLs as needed.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to support recovery goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation according to policies and regulations.
• Provide education and emotional support to residents and families.
