Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN shifts at the GSS ND Larimore Ctr in Larimore, ND.

Provide professional nursing care under supervision, administer medications, and document outcomes. Requires an LPN license with ND credentials and ability to work at least one weekend shift per month with some weekday coverage. Competitive hourly pay with night/weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• Must be a Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• If IV therapy is required, ND-approved IV therapy/education is needed.
• Must have completed supervised clinical experience across the lifespan or 400 hours as LPN.
• Licensure and ongoing certifications must be current and non-encumbered.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to assess and plan care.
• Maintain confidentiality and clear communication with residents, families and staff.
