Job summary

Southern Health Partners seeks a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at Venango County Prison in Pennsylvania. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to deliver meaningful patient care in a correctional setting.

You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and document accurately while working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality care. PA LPN license and CPR required.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in Pennsylvania.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a healthcare team.

• Flexible Scheduling: Use our online scheduling exchange to view available shifts and communicate your availability in advance.
• Monthly Availability: PRN team members are asked to provide at least four available dates each month.
• Reliable Coverage: Honor accepted and scheduled shifts to help maintain consistent patient care.
• Holiday Availability: Share holiday availability in advance whenever possible.
• Scheduling Priorities: Full-time and part-time schedules receive priority when shifts are assigned.
• Facility-Specific Needs: Availability requirements vary based on facility size, staffing model, and coverage needs. At facilities requiring 24-hour coverage, PRN team members may periodically be asked to provide night-shift availability.
