Job summary

Priority Management is seeking a full-time laundry aide to support the operations of Ridgecrest Retirement and Healthcare Community in Waco, TX. The role requires accurate handling of laundry tasks, labeling, inventory records, and adherence to infection control protocols.

On-the-job training is provided. Candidates should be able to read, write, and follow instructions, and must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and work with team members in a busy facility.

Responsibilities

Job Location: Ridgecrest Retirement and Healthcare Community - Waco, TX 76712, Job Shift: Any, We are searching for a Full time laundry aide to support the functions of our facility. The primary purpose of this position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the department as directed by the Supervisor.

To be successful as a laundry aide, you should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, such as the ability to:

• Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
• Work well with team members.
• Follow proper infection control protocols.
• Label or mark personal articles of clothing (blankets, sweaters, etc.) for laundry with identifying information including name, barcode or reference number as appropriate.
• Record production and inventory information in accordance with facility policies (i.e., pounds of laundry, loads, etc.).
• Prepare linen and supply order to meet established par levels as directed by the Laundry Supervisor to replenish stock and/or replace frayed or torn items.
• Attend department and staff meetings as directed or called.
• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments; non-routine assignments as directed.
• Perform assigned tasks in accordance with established laundry procedures and facility policies.
