Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs waived and moderate-high complexity testing according to CLIA '88 guidelines and reports results in Microbiology.
• Conducts quality control, quality assurance and maintenance of the testing area.
• Works independently but under supervision of the department coordinator or a certified technologist/technician.
• Performs clerical tasks, specimen collection, accessioning and processing of specimens.
• Answers phones, relays patient results and monitors expected/outstanding logs.
