Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a PRN Psychiatrist to cover shifts at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem and Thomasville Medical Center in Thomasville, NC. The role focuses on inpatient adult psychiatry with a 51-bed unit, providing care to patients aged 18 and older.

The ideal candidate is board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry, holds a current MD license in North Carolina, and maintains an active DEA license.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
• Current MD license in appropriate state
• Current DEA license

Responsibilities

• Patient population: 18+ for acute care
• Complete daily rounding and timely documentation on assigned patients
• Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary treatment team that includes providers, nursing, therapy and support staff

Education
