Job summary

IVX Health in Knoxville, TN is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to deliver infusion therapy in outpatient settings. You will provide on-site and occasional virtual supervision, administer infusions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient care.

The role supports flexible scheduling with 1–2 days per week, and offers opportunities for CEUs and professional growth while maintaining a patient-centered care model focused on comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license.
• BLS certification required; PALS preferred.
• Experience in ambulatory infusion/outpatient setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on-site and virtual supervision during infusions and injections.
• Conduct patient assessments, document observations, monitor treatment responses.
• Educate patients and families on treatment expectations and potential side effects.
• Ensure compliance and quality by maintaining accurate EHR records and following HIPAA/OSHA standards.
• Optimize clinical workflows by assisting with chart prep and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with referring providers and cross-functional teams to coordinate care.
• Assist in inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
• Be flexible to work at multiple facilities within the designated market.
