Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a compassionate RN to join FlexCare's IV therapy team in Tulsa, OK. This PRN nursing role offers flexible scheduling, with duties including direct IV care for pediatric and adult patients, medication administration, and patient assessment under NP supervision.

Typical clinic hours are Mon-Thu 8am-7pm and Fri-Sat 9am-3pm; assignment includes potential Saturday coverage. Prior IV expertise and Oklahoma RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Oklahoma or Compact.
• BLS and/or CPR certification, or willing to obtain upon hire.
• Willingness to obtain additional licensure and/or ONS certification within 90 days.
• Familiarity with EMR, Microsoft Office, HIPAA, OSHA, and INS standards.
• Solid IV skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct IV care for pediatric and adult patients.
• Prepare and administer sterile medications per protocol.
• Monitor and respond to infusion reactions under NP supervision.
• Communicate with providers and document clinical assessments.
• Support order entry, lab review, and protocol updates.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and participate in quality assurance.

Work Schedule:

This PRN nursing role offers schedule flexibility while providing supplemental coverage for the care team. Hours are assigned based on business and patient care needs, preferably 2 Saturdays per month and weekdays until 7 pm. The selected candidate must be willing to work shifts as needed. No minimum weekly hours are guaranteed.

Clinic Hours:

Monday - Thursday, 8 am - 7 pm, Friday and Saturday, 9 am - 3 pm

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct IV care for pediatric and adult patients

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Oklahoma or Compact (Multistate) RN license
• BLS and/or CPR certification, or willing to obtain upon hire
• Willingness to obtain additional licensure and/or ONS certification within 90 days
• Familiarity with EMR, Microsoft Office, HIPAA, OSHA, and INS standards
• Solid IV skills

Preferred Qualification:

• Outpatient or Home Infusion RN experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29 - $52 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
