Job summary

Cardinal Health manages the pharmacy at PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Centennial Hills in Las Vegas, NV. We are currently recruiting for a PRN Pharmacy Technician to work as needed during facility hours.

The facility operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The Technician II assists the pharmacist in daily operations, including prescription preparation, inventory, and returns, ensuring all orders are reviewed by a licensed pharmacist and recorded in compliance with regulations and company

Qualifications

Nevada license required.
PTCB certification required.
High school degree or equivalent preferred.
IV experience preferred.
In-patient hospital pharmacy experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists the Pharmacist as needed, permitted by State Boards of Pharmacy.
Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Inputs patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy information management system.
Takes inventory, places orders, checks in drugs and supplies, stocks shelves and removes out-of-date items from the inventory.
Communicates with all customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
Maintains knowledge of and abides by all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
