Job summary

Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, MS is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (PRN) to maintain cleanliness and infection prevention standards across the facility. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or custodial work (Preferred).
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and public areas
• Dispose of trash and hazardous waste following proper procedures
• Follow safety guidelines and infection control protocols
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
• Complete daily tasks on schedule with minimal supervision
• Attend ongoing training and in-service education
• Maintain confidentiality regarding patients and hospital operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Environmental Services
