Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide medical care to hospice patients in the El Paso area. You will determine hospice eligibility and manage pain and symptoms as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Must hold an NP license in the state of practice, with strong regulatory knowledge and basic tech skills, including mobile devices. Preferred: 5+ years nursing, 1 year in hospice.

Qualifications

• Education and experience, essential.
• Must be a graduate of an approved school, and licensed as a nurse practitioner (NP) in the state in which they currently practice.
• Must have regulatory knowledge, including Medicare conditions of participation.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• At least five years nursing experience with a minimum of one year in hospice preferred.
• At least three years of clinical RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to hospice patients.
• Determine hospice eligibility and pain and symptom management.
• Participate in the care of the hospice patient as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
