Job summary

AIS Healthcare Career Center is seeking a PRN Home Infusion IVIG RN to provide infusion services in patients' homes. Preference for southwest Houston area (Missouri City & Fresno) with 2-3 days per week flexibility. Fully remote and autonomous with travel as needed.

As a Home Infusion RN you will deliver immune globulin therapies, educate patients and families, and coordinate care with physicians. Travel within greater Houston is required; travel time is paid.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas with ability to be licensed in other states.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; IV-related experience a plus.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance with required liability limits.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in patients' homes.
• Use IV experience and personal touch to assist patients at home.
• Provide one-on-one home infusion visits and education per physician plan.
• Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas.
• Maintain excellent written and verbal communication with patient, physician, pharmacist and partners.
• Receive ongoing training on leading edge infusion technology; IgCN certification expenses may be reimbursed.

PRN Home Infusion / IVIG RN

Fully remote and autonomous PRN position providing infusions in the home setting for patients. Preference for candidates in the southwest Houston, TX area (Missouri City & Fresno)area.Flexible PRN scheduling with a need for 2-3 days per week.

As a Home Infusion IVIG Registered Nurse (RN) you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of the nursing field. If you are spending 12 hours on your feet or rushing from patient to patient with no time to provide quality patient care, this would be the perfect opportunity to change your work environment. Our nurses have the luxury of having a work life balance. Their work schedule also provides an opportunity to build one‑on‑one relationships with their patients.

As a Home Infusion RN you will…

• Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in our patients' homes
• Make a difference by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist our patients in the comfort of their own home.
• Provide one‑on‑one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
• Additional licensure may be required in multi‑state service areas
• Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners.
• Challenge your clinical nursing (RN) skills by receiving continuous training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion. Certification and recertification expenses can be reimbursed for eligible RNs such as Immune Globulin Certified Nurse (IgCN)!

In this PRNrole, you will visit patients in greaterHoustonand surrounding areas with occasional travel of up to 150-200 miles one way. Travel time is paid and mileage is reimbursed.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with current license inTexasandthe ability to be licensed in other states. Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas.
• Minimum one year nursing experience; IV‑related experience a plus
• Have and maintain current CPR certification
• Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance (Liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000 or $300,000 CSL and no business exclusion clause)
• Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three years' nursing experience
• One year infusion experience
• Home healthcare experience
• CRNI or IgCN certification preferred, not required

Education:

RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing
