Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to coordinate and oversee patients' home care in Riverview, FL. You will collaborate with care teams to develop individualized care plans and educate families on patient conditions and needs.

Responsibilities include performing head-to-toe assessments, managing medications, providing injections/IV therapy, supervising LPNs and HHAs, and ensuring timely documentation.

Formación

• Current RN license issued by the state you work in
• CPR certification current and valid
• 1+ year of clinical RN experience; VP approval if under 1 year
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, liability insurance

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversee patients' home care
• Collaborate with care teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate families on patient condition, needs and care
• Perform head to toe physical assessments
• Check vital signs and manage medications
• Administer injections, IV therapy or tube feedings
• Maintain catheters and related care
• Complete documentation timely and accurately
• Supervise LPNs and HHAs
• Communicate patient progress to clinical manager and care team
• Assist with other duties as assigned
