Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes across Brownsville and surrounding areas. The role focuses on improving mobility, independence, and quality of life through in-home sessions.

The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for work-life balance or extra income, with an emphasis on meaningful, patient-centered care and consistent patient volume in the field.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
