Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a home-based Caregiver for shifts in Gainesville, FL. You will provide personal care and assist with daily living activities to help clients remain in their homes, with strict adherence to privacy and EVV documentation.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 40-hour AHCA training (or competency pass), and 6+ months of home care experience. Flexible hours and a comprehensive benefits package are offered where eligible.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• FL: 40-hour AHCA-trained or ability to pass AHCA competency test.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
