Qualifications

• Graduate of a Certified Physician Assistant Program.
• Current State of Wisconsin Certification, NCCPA.
• Current BLS required, ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prescribes or recommends pharmacologic and non pharmacologic therapies including controlled medications.
• Improves clinical and cost outcomes for key patient populations through collaboration with physicians and staff and by participating in strategic initiatives.
• Assures competent and ethical care of patients and families.
• To accomplish this goal the provider will work both autonomously and in collaboration with the medical staff and supervising physician, maintain a quality, customer-focused, nursing and medically appropriate approach to patient assessment, care plan development and implementation, follow-up to outcomes, and cost-effective delivery of services.
• Participates in research activities as appropriate.
