Meadow View Assisted Living in Wisconsin is seeking a PRN/Flex Medication Aide to join our team of dedicated professionals who prioritize resident dignity and independence. You will administer prescribed medications and assist with activities of daily living for residents who need support.

Must meet yearly CE requirements; hours are flexible but with monthly minimums; prior caregiving experience and current CPR certification are preferred.

About the Opportunity

TheMedicationAideadministers prescribedmedications and treatments to residents who need assistance in accordance with state regulatory stipulations and requirements for safe administration. Observes the resident taking themedication, notes effects including any unexpected or adverse effects, correctly documents the required information in the residents’medicationadministration records, communicates any concerns or observations with the Wellness Director, Wellness Coordinator, or designated personnel. TheMedicationAidealso supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. Encourages resident independence, supports resident choice, and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

Must meet yearly continuing education requirements (15 hours) by completing annual online training and attending monthly staff meetings. Hours are flexible for this position but are subject to required monthly minimums.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior direct care experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Current CPR certification preferred.
  • Meets age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations including CBRF training.
