Job summary

Texas Health Dallas is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, high-volume ED, with self-scheduling and opportunities for education and career growth.

The position requires a Nursing Diploma or higher, RN licensure at hire, and critical certifications (BCLS, ACLS, PALS) within required timeframes. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience or completion of an RN residency program.
• RN licensure required at hire; BCLS ACLS and PALS certifications required within specified timelines.
• CPI training annually; TNCC or ATCN within stated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic human needs with attention to safety and holistic care.
• Honor patient dignity and rights; address patients by name.
• Engage families and caregivers in care plans and decisions.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to ensure quality patient care.
• Contribute to a fast-paced, high-volume ED environment.
