HCA Florida JFK Hospital is seeking an EKG Technician PRN to join a busy hospital environment in Florida. The role involves performing electrocardiograms, monitoring heart rhythms, and handling related clerical tasks under the supervision of nursing and medical staff.

The ideal candidate will complete a Basic EKG Course, have at least 1 year of experience, and obtain a Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. This PRN position supports a broad range of patient care activities.

Formación

• Completion of a Basic EKG Course.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must obtain BLS/Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within ~30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Administer standard EKGs, Holter monitor hookups, and signal average EKGs.
• Analyze cardiac rhythms and report changes to nursing/medical staff.
• Manage test data processing, filing records, and internal communications.
