Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD is seeking a PRN Echocardiographer to perform echocardiograms and Doppler studies in a supportive hospital environment. The role requires cardiac testing experience, ARDMS or CCI certification, CPR training, and Epic experience in a fast-paced setting.

As part of the imaging team, you will travel as needed within the department while delivering accurate readings and contributing to patient care across age groups, with emphasis on middle and senior adults.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in cardiology testing.
• Echo courses in M-Mode and 2-D and Doppler Echocardiography completed.
• CPR training - Healthcare Provider level required.
• ARDMS or CCI certification required.
• Epic experience.
• Typing skills required.
• Must be able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs all Echocardiograms and Dopplers resulting in readings.
• Assists with other departmental testing as needed.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development for all age groups, with emphasis on middle and senior adults.
• Applies developmental principles when selecting equipment and performing tests.
