Position Summary

The Driver's primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently transport patients.Driver will ensure the safety of passengers with severe physical, mental, or developmental problems while in vehicle. They may also be involved in maintaining the vehicle, ensuring patient comfort and safety during transport, and documenting all relevant information. The Driver is responsible for direct and indirect patient care.

Driver Requirements:

Chauffeur's license. Eye exam. State of Louisiana defensive driving course. Clean driving record.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Work experience

A minimum of 1 to 3 years of driving experience within a healthcare facility. 3 to 5 years of driving experience preferred.

Interpersonal Skills

Essential Job Duties
