Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Clinical Dietitian for Emory Decatur Hospital in Decatur, GA. This PRN position involves Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

New grads are welcome; must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligible, and licensed in the state. Schedule ranges 4-12 days per month; online applications only.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice (or eligible).
• Healthcare experience preferred—new grads with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, policies, and protocols to ensure high-quality care.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training.

• Schedule: PRN - as needed; 4-12 days per month (ranges from 1-3 days per week) depending on the season

Job Summary

• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable

What We’re Looking For:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
