Job summary

Odd Fellows is seeking a Dietary Aide PRN to assist in all food service tasks under the supervision of the Dietitian/Director of Food Services. You will help prepare and serve meals, deliver snacks, and assist with kitchen cleanliness while adhering to facility policies and resident rights.

The role requires flexibility for weekends and holidays, a team-oriented attitude, and the ability to follow detailed food service procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Must be a supportive team member and contribute to team work.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals in accordance with established portion control procedures and maintains quality of presentation.
• Assists with service and delivery of food trays to designated areas and with cleaning of the kitchen per policy.
• Prepares and delivers snacks as directed and assists in inventory or storage tasks as needed.
• Follows safety, sanitation and infection control policies; maintains a clean, organized work area.
• Promotes dignity and respect for residents and adheres to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
