Concerto Renal Services is seeking a PRN Dialysis Technician to join its team in Greater St Louis. You will provide hands-on dialysis care under supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring safety and adherence to policies.

This role requires a High School diploma, CPR certification, and dialysis certification with at least two years of technician experience. You must be able to meet physical demands and work in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current CPR Certification or completion upon starting in unit.
• Minimum of two years of dialysis technician experience.
• Dialysis certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, initiating and discontinuing dialysis per prescribed orders.
• Obtain and document pre- and post-treatment vitals, weight, and vascular access assessments, reporting any unusual findings to the nurse.
• Set up, operates, and performs safety checks on hemodialysis machines; administers heparin as permitted by state law.
• Accurately documents patient treatment details and prepares laboratory specimens as prescribed.
• Deliver excellent service to patients, families, and staff, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Concerto is seeking a PRN Dialysis Technician to join its team! The PRN Dialysis Technician functions as part of the hemodialysis health care team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients. Works under the supervision of a licensed nurse in accordance with Concerto's policies, procedures, and training and in compliance with regulations set for by state and federal agencies.

What Will You Do?

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This role involves prolonged walking, standing, stooping, and bending. Must be able to lift to 25 lbs. Requires strong focus and attention to detail in a clinical setting. The work environment includes temperature control and moderate noise. Potential exposure to infectious materials.
