Job summary

CHS Career Site seeks an Ultrasound Technologist for a PRN position in Missouri. The role requires performing diagnostic ultrasound studies with independence and high attention to patient safety.

Responsibilities include verification of orders, patient identification, documentation in EHR/PACS, and maintaining a clean, compliant imaging suite. ARDMS/ARRT eligible and BCLS are required or scheduled.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ultrasound imaging techniques and equipment operation.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology relevant to diagnostic sonography.
• Ability to work independently with patient safety in mind.

Responsibilities

• Performs all ultrasound procedures independently following protocols.
• Verifies patient identity and appropriate ordered procedures.
• Documents imaging and patient data in the EHR and PACS.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; ensures infection control.
• Provides patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
