Responsibilities include independent imaging, patient verification, accurate documentation in the EHR, and adherence to safety protocols. ARDMS/ARRT certification and BCLS within 7 days are required or eligible.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years clinical ultrasound experience required.
• 2-4 years clinical ultrasound experience preferred.
• ARDMS/ARRT Sonography certification and BCLS within 7 days of employment are required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures independently following department protocols.
• Verifies patient identification and ensures orders are appropriate before imaging.
• Documents imaging procedures and patient information in the EHR; scans PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and safe, clean work environment.
• Ensures patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality; adheres to policies.
