Job summary

Memorial Hermann is seeking a PRN Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to perform CT scans and X-rays for the ER and other departments as needed. The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekdays and weekends, with potential assignments at the Woodlands freestanding ER.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, image acquisition, contrast administration when required, data entry, and quality assurance on CT equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of CT Technologist experience or two years as Radiologic Technologist with CT education/experience.
• Must be certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
• Current MRT license by Texas Medical Board; ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT certification in Computed Tomography or ARRT-R/N or NMTCB certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans on patients; prepare, position and explain procedure; administer contrast when necessary; ensure image quality.
• Enter and monitor patient data.
• Perform quality assurance on CT equipment.
• May assist with accreditation applications (ACR and others).
• May float to other locations and work weekends as needed.
• Adhere to Memorial Hermann policies and maintain safe care for patients, staff and visitors.
