Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Anesthesia for Nurses.
• Board eligible or board certified.
• Unrestricted Iowa medical license.
• Authority to prescribe medications as applicable to APRN practice.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and prepares patients for anesthesia.
• Administers anesthesia as required.
• Performs post-anesthesia duties per departmental policies.
• No obstetric (OB) duties.
• Collaborates with team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Communicates effectively with patients and staff.
