Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia care for adult patients at the Ashley River Tower location in Charleston, SC. The role includes pre- and post-anesthesia assessments, documentation, and collaboration with the attending anesthesiologist.

The position is hourly with an 8-hour scheduled workweek and a location stipend. U.S. licensure as an APRN/CRNA and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAE-approved Nurse Anesthesia program and certified or recertified by NBCRNA.
• Master's degree or higher with concentration in Nurse Anesthesia for hires after Mar 1, 2019.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care to a wide variety of adult patients.
• Administer anesthetics in consultation with the attending anesthesiologist.
• Perform pre- and post-anesthesia visits and document anesthesia notes.
