Job summary

MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center in Lancaster, SC seeks a board-certified/eligible Critical Care physician to join a growing ICU team. The 10-bed unit includes hospitalists and tele-intensivists, with day coverage from 7am to 7pm and no night call.

You will teach Internal Medicine residents and access MUSC’s tele-intensivist program, with extensive support resources and competitive compensation. Lancaster offers a supportive community with easy access to Charlotte and outdoor recreation.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care or Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for medical license in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide 10-bed ICU coverage from 7am–7pm with hospitalists and tele-intensivists.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and tele-intensivists for patient care.
• Teach Internal Medicine residents when available.
