The Ranch at Dove Tree in Lubbock, Texas seeks a PRN Counselor (LCDC-I or LPC-A) to support clients in their recovery from addictions and mental health disorders. The role emphasizes assessment, treatment planning, and delivering counseling services on an on-site basis.

The Counselor One provides treatment and support to assist clients in their recovery from addictions, such as alcoholism, drug addiction, or mental health disorders, assists with modifying problem behaviors; may also provide counseling services to families of clients. Must have a LCDC-I or LPC-A to qualify
Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social services, addiction, mental health or closely related health services field. Degree must be from an accredited college or university. Professional experience is not required, but experience in counseling field instruction/internship or similar practicum training is preferred.
Must have current and valid licensure or certification as a social worker, professional counselor, therapist or addiction counselor per state agency, including entry level licenses as issued by the state. CPR certification and de-escalation training required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility.
