Job summary

PruittHealth in Milton, FL is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. You will implement treatment plans, assist with activities of daily living, and help patients progress toward greater independence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience in rehabilitation or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional tasks.
• Guide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve independence.
• Observe and report patient progress to the Occupational Therapist.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Support interdisciplinary care planning and treatment goals.
