Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a Community Health Educator to work in St. Louis City Schools, developing positive relationships, life skills, and healthy connections within the community.

This PRN role offers 2–3 days per week, with occasional evening or weekend availability, and focuses on prevention education and community partnerships.

Bachelor’s degree is required; 2–5 years of experience are expected; Master’s degree is a plus and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, coordinates, and oversees delivery of school and/or community health education and screenings.
• Consults with school community clients to determine health needs and helps implement plans to reduce risk factors.
• Partners with program staff, physicians, hospital administration, and marketing teams to implement integrated approaches.
• Evaluates program outcomes and analyzes health trends to focus on high-risk populations.
