Job summary

The Masonic Home of Virginia in Richmond, VA is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our PRN pool. You’ll assist residents with daily living activities in a respectful, compassionate manner and help maintain their dignity and comfort.

The role offers $21.00 per hour with a competitive shift differential and a robust benefits package including a 403(b) match, on-site gym, free parking, and an Employee Referral Program.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a CNA by the Virginia Department of Health Professions; CPR certified.
• Graduation from an accredited Nursing Assistant Program.
• Healthcare experience with elderly residents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists Residents with person-centered bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring and eating to promote mobility.
• Communicates Resident observations promptly to the Licensed Practical Nurse and documents observations clearly.
• Promptly answers Resident call lights and offers assistance as needed with a helpful, caring manner.
• Engages Residents in individualized programs and activities of their preference.
• Greets Residents and visitors; handles phone and gate intercom communications respectfully.
