Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant for Wabash Valley Correctional Facility in Carlisle, Indiana. The CNA provides direct patient care under nursing, medical and psychiatric staff, assisting with hygiene, daily living activities and vital signs, for incarcerated individuals.

The ideal candidate holds an Indiana CNA license, with a preference for one year of acute/long-term care or correctional experience.

Qualifications

Indiana CNA license.
One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
Corrections experience not required.
Ability to obtain a security clearance, drug screen and criminal background check.
Current CPR.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.
Provide direct patient care under supervision of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff.
Support healthcare staff in daily rounds and routine tasks.
Maintain safety and security protocols within the correctional facility.
