Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical team at East Moline Correctional Center located in East Moline, Illinois. CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals.

Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring. High School diploma or equivalent; CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required; Illinois

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required.
• CNA licensure in Illinois required.
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred.
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
• Must be CPR/BLS certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff.
• Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.
